Instead, it was about like civil investigations, right?
Tax, tax, tax officials, customs officials, which is not necessarily criminal.
So I thought that was pretty opinion I found very baffling and also like maybe obviously wrong.
To think of probable cause is just a criminal concept.
Now, I mean, there were a law of arrests, right, for which the concept probable cause was important at the time of the founding.
But I don't think it was would have been thought of as exclusively criminal.
That's the thing I'm confused about because the exception is satisfied here.
But, like, I kind of think that there was probable cause here, like even under the heavier standard.
I mean, the specific facts were this guy, Case, Case is the subject of the case, you know, had called his ex-girlfriend and said he was going to kill himself and that he was running a suicide note.
And he also said stuff about like, if the police come, I'm going to shoot them.
