The day-by-day approach hasn't really allowed me to think forward to this.
And then a couple weeks ago, it kind of started becoming a reality.
But yeah, it's surreal.
I'm so excited for the world to experience Hoagland when it's packed out.
And so fun to be back home, playing at home.
Globally, unbelievable first world problem to be, you know, worrying about what seed you are in the NCAA tournament as a host site.
So, you know, when you look at the field and you look at all 16, it's a really, really deep field.
You look at the two seats.
I mean, there are some monster two seats.
And then you look through the three seats and you think about
Nebraska, and obviously I'm doing this from memory, I didn't write any of this down, but I think Nebraska's got Ole Miss and Arizona State.
I assume Ole Miss is the two there.
Missouri State is a three seed.
They're at, what, 23 RPI.
Arizona State is a three seed.
I mean, that's as talented a team as you can find in the country.
When you look at the entire field, you can look through the two seeds and the three seeds and make a case that a lot of those should be bumped up, which again points to the level of competitiveness and the level of talent in college baseball right now.
I don't think it's ever been, I don't think college baseball has ever been better than it is today.
