I was making bad arguments on behalf of running backs while the league totally adjusted how we pay the running backs.

He was pretty awesome.

Zaslow, this is what I would say, though, in disagreement to how it is that you just framed that.

Because you're generally right on pass rusher, but Kansas City's defense is going to be good no matter what because of how they do things.

I think that's an extraordinary signing for just that team.

just that team saying, you know what we're going to do, Mahomes?

We're going to actually get you a running back who does break 10-yard runs.

You haven't had one of those the last couple of years.

We're going to make all of this easier by getting you a running back.

I think that particular team needs pass rush less than it needs what they're presently getting.

They getting that at $45 million to me is more value than Carolina getting Jalen Phillips for $120 million.

And I will say it again, Kenneth Walker is younger than Jalen

They've also had a young defense, and their defensive coordinator, Spagnuolo, does things with them that very few deep coordinators are able to do.
