It's steep.

It's annoying in the same way that everything being expensive is annoying and it feels wrong, you know.

But again, there's a flip side here.

broke like this association so we bailed them out as taxpayers and now as jersey buyers we have to bail them out again but when Troy Parrott scores the goal a lot of people speak about oh this is great you know there's a great it's a great buzz back around the national team again and look this is the national team and look how it lifts the nation

And you sort of feel like if you're in marketing or commercial, you probably do think, well, we need to maybe capitalize on this.

And that's a sort of a human thing to do, a very cynical human business decision to do.

I don't like the fact that they seem to bring out new jerseys all the time.

I'm not a big jersey follower.

Some people are like big into their jerseys.

I sort of, those jersey stories often, they sort of just, they're white noise.

I don't pay attention to them.

But it does strike me that part of the kit deals now seem to be recurring new deals.

So I don't have so much have an issue

with maybe the price of an individual jersey because it reflects just the terrible inflation but I'd be more annoyed if there was another one in six months or a year or there's three of them if this is if you see a jersey come out at that price but you're given guarantees well this is a jersey for a period of time but then I find that easier to deal with than knowing that look there's going to be oh the big reveal is coming and then obviously if Ireland qualify Could they bring out a World Cup jersey?

Of course they could In five months?

But then everyone would be saying you should do that

I mean, you know, what did they expect 2026 to look like?

you know what did they expect it to look like even so it's not a great time to bring out a jersey no I accept that but I mean I'm just saying like no one saw that coming in November you know no that's fair that's fair but it just 85 for a kids jersey I think you know I'd say Carroll's could do good business
