Canada extended an olive branch to President Trump and will now remove retaliatory tariffs on U.S.-made products that comply with the U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade agreement.

Canada will, though, keep in place the 25% tariffs on U.S.-made steel and aluminum, as well as on U.S.-made autos.

According to Dominic LeBlanc, the minister responsible for Canada-U.S.

trade, in a Bloomberg television interview, LeBlanc says Canada is confident in reaching a trade deal with the U.S.

that is beneficial to both countries.

Bloomberg's Michael McKee says this is significant because this suggests a deal between both countries may be possible.

The bigger question, though, is what would the deal include?

Five passengers, all adults, were killed with many more injured after a tour bus returning to New York City from Niagara Falls with 54 people on board flipped over on the highway.

Police say the crash happened on I-90, 25 miles east of Buffalo.

State police say the driver who survived the accident got distracted before losing control of the bus, then overcorrected before the bus flipped over on the right shoulder.
