You know, I was just listening to your previous guest talk about, you know, Rafael Devers not hitting the back of his baseball card, and that's what's happening outside of a couple of spots.

Like, Nolan McClain's been phenomenal as a young pitcher, right?

I mean, the guy is on the top, you know, pitch prospects at baseball.

But

Guys aren't hitting.

What's Lindor doing, right?

Not much.

None of these guys are doing what they're supposed to do.

So the Mets, it's been an embarrassment.

If you're Mendoza, the manager, how much of a leash is Steve Cohen going to have there when he's spending $400 million?

He's not going to be Steinbrenner and hire and fire three managers in a year.

But Carlos Mendoza isn't exactly a big name with a huge resume to survive a really bad start for a team that had high expectations this year.

A lot of people thought they would win the NL East this year, and right now they are sputtering, looking terrible.

Kind of.

Here's the problem.

The bullpen was a real problem last year, and they've been a real problem this year.

They're not good.

David Bednar is not a real closer.

He's only a closer because he's the guy to get the ball to the ninth inning.

The Yankees need to improve that bullpen, and they need to do it fast.
