I had one when we went to Australia at the end of the season and I was severely jet-lagged, like you wouldn't believe.

So we were preparing to go out bonding that night, so I thought I'll have a little nap in the afternoon at about two, three o'clock in the afternoon.

I had a 24-hour nap.

When I woke up, it was 3 o'clock the next day, but not in the morning, back in the afternoon again.

It was a mental sleep.

I just lost a full day somewhere.

And then the other one, so tired, in the middle of the season playing for Sheffield United after a running day, and all you can think of is, like, I'm so tired.

I just want to nap, want to nap, want to nap.

I was driving home.

Went into a petrol station, filled my car up full of petrol, forgot to pay because I was so obsessed with having the sleep.

I went to my house, fell asleep, and the policeman knocked on the door.

Wow.

Forgot to pay for your petrol.

And did you give him that awful story?

I went, I forgot.

And did he believe you?

No, he did.

I said, oh, mate, because, yeah, he's obviously ran my name through the checks and stuff.

And, yeah, I just said, oh, mate, honestly, I'm so tired.

I said, I'll go back now.
