I mean, you name it.

Every category that it takes to run a football team, Liverpool were second best today.

And I would expect a manager of his experience to come out and say that, instead of coming out with some sort of narrative about injuries or teams sitting back behind the ball.

He has got a point, though, hasn't he?

He has some excuses that are valid, yes.

But when you play in a game and you get beaten on every single category that counts in football, you can't turn around and start throwing out little excuses.

Sometimes you've got to put your hands up and say, this isn't good enough, I've not been good enough, I need to find a way.

That's the kind of rhetoric he needs to be coming out with.

Not lame excuses.

Because that's what that said.
