But then you've got all the new signings have underperformed and credited to Alexander Izak.

He's been injured for a long spell, but he wasn't playing particularly well before that.

None of these signings have really performed as we thought they would, as we sat here in the summer and thought they would.

Nobody from last season has performed in any way that we thought they would.

So this is why Arne Slott, I think it's a far broader conversation about Arne Slott, his coaching, his management, than just, do you trust him with that kind of money?

But I think we've nailed it down to the reason why he would get the sack.

And for me, that is really simple.

For me, it really boils down to

Whoever's making the decision, the final decision, that exactly will be the question.

Because of what happened after we signed so many players last year.

A, we clearly need to sign players.

There's no doubt.

They have to go and make signings.

So the question becomes, for the man in charge, whoever it is that makes the final decision, is do I trust Anieslot with this money and these new players?

And do you?

If the answer's yes.
