Like there's work that needs to be accomplished.
And so you better check in and walk through the door as soon as you put your key card to that key card reader.
You better be ready to go to work.
Well, look, I think there's a couple things here with Ryan.
Number one is he just navigated a pretty eventful March, right?
There was a lot of twists and turns in the road for what they had to do in March, whether it's the surprise retirement of Drew Dallman, whether it's the trade of DJ Moore, whether it's saying goodbye to
a team captain like Kevin Bayard pivoting to get your next center, you know, doing all the things that they had to do in free agency.
It was eventful.
And I think he felt very strongly that they were very connected inside the building in identifying solutions rather than worrying about problems.
And then when you look ahead to the draft, Marshall, which obviously is three weeks from tonight, believe it or not, you feel like you have an opportunity
with those four picks on days one and two, where you can really plug some holes and add some talent and add some quality depth in a way that gives yourself a chance to sustain the success you had last year.
And so I think they're eager.
I think they're eager to get back in the building to kind of tighten the draft board up, to take the coach's input and evaluations there and really feel prepared going into draft week in terms of all the various scenarios and where they will ultimately pull the trigger on their picks.
I've been thinking, I believe.
Well, with the complex, I just hope we get an answer one way or the other soon.
It just feels like this thing is dragged out.
It's been talked about ad nauseum.
We understand how compelling the Bears case is.
We understand the NFL's logic and trying not to open up a loophole that 31 other teams could.
Take advantage of in the future.
