And so you can't turn your nose up at it.
Now, listen, if the Bears do get that pick and they make that selection, that young man should walk into the building knowing how much pressure is on him because he was talked about for months in vague terms before the Bears ever made that selection.
So that'll be fascinating to watch.
Well, I would just say this, that it was enjoyable to visit with George McCaskey.
He's told us over the years how much of a fan of the Chicago Bears he is, obviously.
And so reliving, I guess, the 2025 experience through his eyes and through his words over the last few days was fun.
You guys can say whatever you want about Georgia leadership.
about where the Bears need to go to be much better as an organization than they've been over the last 10, 20, 30 years.
But George is a delightful man to visit with and listening to him recount all of these moments throughout a crazy 2025, it was just fun.
And so I'll have a little bit coming up next week to bring that to the table.
But it's always enjoyable to kind of get that perspective, particularly on a season like that that was so incredibly eventful from really early October through the end of the playoffs.
Yeah, and it was good.
And look, this is going to heat up quick.
The draft's in three weeks.
Again, players will be back in the building.
We'll have a draft class to talk about here before too long.
And then, really, when the calendar flips to May, you're looking at your roster.
And that's pretty complete at that point.
There'll be some small additions that are made along the way.
But that gives us a chance to really measure up whether the Bears got better this offseason.
