And it's kind of refreshing for people around the league that kind of wander over from teams that have coaches that just kind of speak in coach speak and don't give you a lot there.
Every single answer that Ben gives,
gives to a question.
One, it's engaged, and two, it's informative.
And so you learn a lot about his mindset, about the direction of the team, about the vision.
That part is really cool as somebody that covers a team on a regular basis to be part of that sort of back and forth and that exchange.
I think there's also an acknowledgment from Ben that there is a lot of work ahead.
They want to be a team that is consistently in championship contention from now into the 2030s, right?
And in order to do that, you can't celebrate.
You can't see achievements like they had last year and go, all right, that's great.
It's no, we're on to the next thing and we've got to figure out how to be better than we were last year because there were still three more weeks of football left.
after we stopped playing.
And so I think Ben's understanding of how to acknowledge that and then how to message that both to his coaching staff and the players is pretty unique.
And it's something that's going to be an engine of what they do going forward.

If you're going to be very, very demanding of all the people around you, you have to be very demanding of yourself.
And so for Ben to be able to look in the mirror as much as he looks in the microscope of everybody else, he's got an opportunity to kind of connect in that way.
And he does so in a really...
productive way, you know, and you feel the responses he gets from all the people around him.
And so, look, they've got to go to work.
