You're right.
So we'll see how philosophically that works.
But to me, that means the Bears are right now.
They're not looking for projects or development necessarily.
Some of what nobody can avoid at the end of a draft and some of the free agent signings as well.
But and it also, to me, explains further if people are still looking for justification on not grabbing money.
One of those are moving up to get a defensive lineman or edge.
I think it explains some of that, too.
If they didn't think if Dennis Allen didn't think if Ben Johnson didn't think that some of these guys were scheme fits necessarily, you know, and it probably starts more with the type of player they were.
But but I do like the idea that that they are, in theory, going for some some really kind of ambitious ideas on the players that they want and they want it now.
A couple more things before we get out of here.
Now that the draft is over and you've got some rookie free agents as well, here we are again with the pass rush.
And we talked about the constant litany of guys that are listed.
Well, there's Dio Dangbo.
There's Shamar Turner.
There's Montez Sweat, who had a good year.
Last year, could you get more inside pressure from Jervon Dexter or Grady Jarrett breakthrough a couple of times?
But here we are in this situation.
We are in a spot, even though you and I are okay with them not drafting one.
The Bears are still in a bad place on paper right now with the pass rush.
