When last we spoke about this and where last the news was popping, the Illinois House had passed the.
The mega projects bill that everybody's been hit over the head with over the last few years, the bill designed to keep the Bears in Illinois by smoothing the path to Arlington Heights.
The Bears then very kindly and politely sort of shot back with, yeah, thank you very much.
We appreciate paraphrasing.
But you did.
We appreciate that we're moving towards something.
We've made progress.
But there are essential changes, the Bears said, that still needed to be made before they would be comfortable.
The Senate yet has to vote on it.
But Dan, is there anything that you can add to this?
Any insight or anything new as far as the stadium is concerned for our listeners and viewers?
Yeah, and I guess I will kind of close out the discussion by saying I was a little surprised to see that, because I thought the infrastructure that was hammered out, that that was cool.
But apparently there are some things that they're still trying to hammer out.
Hopefully they will get to that point.
So as Dan said, we can actually talk about what the stadium is going to look like and what it actually looks like when shovels are in the ground.
But we will continue to keep you up to date on such things.
Dan, is there anything else that you would like to add on this particular episode?
472 of the Take the North podcast.
That's right.
Yeah, the episodes will keep coming this week, and we will continue to add insights where we can.
