I'm in that category and they're my favorite because we have, people say, well, you're so great at dealing with hecklers.

How old were you when you first started dealing with hecklers?

And I said, the day I was born.

Yeah.

But the truth is, honestly, six, seven on my council estate, people would come to me.

They changed the reason why it's because I'm Irish or Indian or chubby or camp or gay.

But it was such good training.

I was like, hey, I remember this lad say you're gay.

And I said, I am because I was with your mom last night.

She turned to me and then I had to run away, you know.

But that means that when I become a comedian, I was so great at dealing with anything or anyone, you know.

Yeah, it's called Darling and it's all about the women who raised me, like my Irish mum, my Irish aunties, my Indian nan, who was also really iconic.

She couldn't ask me outright if I was gay.

She did it via passive-graph tea leaf reading.

She'd be like, I can't see many girls in your future.

And I was like, Nan, I'm gay.

And she said, we must call your father.

I said, why?
