The other thing that comes out in these regrets, though, Mel, which is interesting, is people sort of between the lines.
You almost hear them saying or feeling that there's something wrong with them because they have that.
And that's a huge mistake because everybody has regrets.
Everybody has regrets.
It doesn't make you bad.
It doesn't make you weak.
It doesn't make you broken.
It makes you human.
Yeah, we started something called the World Regret Survey where we invited people around the world to submit their big regret.
As you say, we have a very, very large database of regret.
And I think the most surprising thing
about it is how much they sound exactly like the regrets that you got and exactly like the regrets that other people got.
If I were to say to you, Mel, one of these regrets is from Milwaukee.
Another one is from Copenhagen.
And this one is from Taipei.
Which is which?
you wouldn't know.
If I say, I had a chance to take a really challenging, demanding job, but I didn't believe in myself, I regret not taking the shot.
