Well, I'm a communication specialist.
I'm at the middle stage of my career, I must say, and I'm looking at how I can rise.
And so I've been wondering that has being an introvert really a good thing?
Because it feels like people who are sometimes overly loud are able to build friendships quite easily, tend to rise, not necessarily because they're good at their jobs.
preferring to work behind the scenes.
And I feel like I'm not being seen enough because I don't enjoy talking.
It takes time for me to engage with people.
I'm like, is this really a limitation?
If I want to rise, how different are we?
How do we become an introvert or an extrovert?
This is not an easy conversation for me.
I'm nervous, but I've come to understand that you ought to do this to be able to succeed.
And it's quite interesting for me because all my career, I have never gotten a job through an interview before.
So it's always been recommendations.
And people are always speaking for me because I do good work.
But at some point in my life, I ought to be able to say that as a communications person, I should be able to go for an interview and ace it.
