I think he has a lot of growing to do, and I think he's grown a lot this year just watching him. So I just talked to him after and was like, dude, I commend you for how you handled it. I hope that he can take some of that stuff into his future.

It was tough for Dave because he got... When we were in Honduras and we got our phones back and, you know, you're expecting to go back into the real world and kind of, like, ease into it. And, like, we knew it's not going to be easy. We know it's not going to be easy, but... word had already gotten out because it's Minnesota.

Word had already gotten out about all of this stuff about Dave and Lauren and like his friends and his sister and his family, this guy, like everybody knew everything before Dave even knew anything. So one, we were coming back into the real world, which is tough in itself. And then also he was getting all of that piled on top of him, which isn't an excuse to necessarily act the way that he did.

But yeah, I tried to just understand a little bit, and I know it was a lot for him. I tried to give advice, but he has long-term friends and family that he would take advice from me. He only met me for a couple of weeks, but I also tried to understand where he was coming from, but there were definitely some things I think that he knows that he did that he wishes he could do differently.
