and Iran, Israel continued attacking Lebanon, where the Iran backed group Hezbollah is based.
There has been disagreement among the countries involved in the ceasefire as to whether attacks on Lebanon are a part of that agreement.

One of the sort of fascinating things about all of this that I can see from my very U.S.
stance is a phrase you often see political scientists say about Hungary is that its style of rule right now under Orban is competitive authoritarianism.
And yet you still have these elections, an authoritarian leader who still has some chance of being voted out.
The idea, and I'm going to say this very loosely, is that the leader, once he's in power, co-opts things like the media, the courts, tries to make elections less fair.
And so that's the idea of what Orban has done.
The question is, of course, whether he can be voted out.
