I had the rehearsal space, and that's always the toughest thing, you know, to find a drummer who's not a flake and, like, move his kit around.

And my drums were always there, and their drummers kept flaking out on them.

I had to charge them because they reserved the space, and I finally felt sorry.

I'm like, I'll go ahead and play with you guys today, you know.

Everything suddenly makes sense.

But the first time I did it was the first time that the four original members played together and there was something special there, it was undeniable.

Off we went, we were addicted.
