Well, I don't think we thought that two of their very best players would be dreadful.
I mean, Salvi and Vinny have been dreadful.
I mean, even mediocre would be, the Royals would probably have won four or five more games.
So I don't think that's a really bad judgment of the team.
Vinny Pasquantino, when healthy, has basically been a good hitter.
And every time he shows a little life, here's another 0 for 5 with three strikeouts.
Carter Jensen showed a little bit of, you know, we said, I think I said at the start of the season, I want one of the two to kind of break through.
They've both sort of shown a few signs, but Jensen's really regressed since a pretty decent start.
And he's just an automatic out right now.
And Caglione has no power, and that's what he's here for.
So there's a lot of, you know... And they had the magical health year of pitching in 24, probably had it worse than they deserved last year.
And this year's kind of normal for the major leagues, really.
I mean, you can complain about it, but pitchers get hurt.
I think when we were estimating the Royals, we were looking at it more in the way that we were thinking that things would go well.
And in baseball, things can go sideways.
I mean, the Phillies are a good team, and they're just kicking around 500, and that's with a big rally.
