Let's just have a good crack at it, get our mojo going again.

And hopefully we can win enough games to firstly make the finals and secondly finish as high as we can.

Well, first and foremost, I hope he stays.

We love him and he's such an important player for us.

But you'd rather know sooner rather later so you can start planning what's ahead for you from a list management perspective.

I don't think it would affect him too much.

It certainly hasn't affected him so far this year.

He's playing...

a fantastic brand of football for us right now.

But in answer to your question, the short one is we'd sooner rather know than later if he is in fact leaving, yeah.

We had an instance with Dan McStay yesterday

Probably five years ago, the same sort of situation.

And he let us know probably about six or seven weeks ago.

And the reality was, you know, we said to him, you make a decision and your decision is your decision.

But we still want you to help us potentially win a premiership.

And he's still a listed player for us.

We still need him to perform at the level that will help us succeed.

So I think you've just got to be, as much as you'd be disappointed, you've just got to be a bit mature about it all and work together to make sure that the rest of the season works out as you'd want it to.

Oh, look, Dom Ambrosio, our list manager, does an outstanding job for our footy club.

So he's always in the background, regardless if the boys stay or don't stay, looking at what's out there and what's around and what might suit us.
