I can see people who can maybe do a lat pulldown with the whole stack and they can't do one pullup.
So it's very different.
Multiple times per week, you should only go to failure on the last set because once you fail, it's not going to get any better after that.
And just gradually progress them over time, which is what we did in our programming.
And even my fiancΓ©e, Danielle, when she does her sets of pull-ups, which again, when we first did them, she always laughed at me and goes, there is no way I'm going to ever be able to do that.
Whereas now, I even see like just like the look on her face after doing a set.
It's just like you feel good, you know.
Yeah, it's one of those things where once you've got it too, it's much easier to maintain over a period of time and you just feel really good because you're sitting there thinking like... It's a clear outcome.
And there was a period of time where I thought I was not going to be able to do this and now I can.
So, yeah, that would be my answer.
So if we were to talk about say building strength or building muscle tissue and
it really comes down to creating muscle damage, right?
So when we train, we're actually damaging, we're creating all these little micro tears in the muscle.
And then when it recovers and repairs, that's how we progress.
It has to adapt and change.
And you can achieve that in so many different ways.
You know, like I've tried programs in the past where I would never go to failure.
