So clearly he's probably getting lousy run support, everything.
But he was β he got mad when he gave up anything.
I think the Royals so far have just not quite been there.
And we've played quite a few games now.
Are they just going to stay not quite?
You know, they get things a little bit going, and then something goes in reverse.
Or they start to hit a little bit, but nobody hits with runners in scoring position.
Or they're pressing because they don't hit with runners in scoring position, so they run into outs.
Their starting pitching was fabulous, but they didn't win that many games during that stretch.
Now are we going to get in for a little regression, and that's when they're going to lose games.
So, yes, I think they are a poster child for the American League because I think that many American League teams are just like the Royals, although I think the Royals probably have a little more
than some of the teams that are playing about the kind of ball that they are.
But I'm not sure they're going to realize that upside because within each individual case study, you get Jack Caglione, Vinny Pasquantino, whatever, there's enigmas.
I mean, Pasquantino started to hit, but he can't draw blood with a runner in scoring position.
He and Caglione are 8 for 64 with 8 singles.
