It's really hard to describe the feeling that day.
12 years of your career sitting on a giant pile of explosives and everything has to go exactly according to plan.
And it really, the only word that I can describe it was it was transcendental.
I felt like I was on that rocket and I went into outer space that day.
And I still feel like that.
I still feel like when we see that spacecraft, when we hear from the spacecraft or see the images, that it's us.
It's our spirit that's out there.

We left the Earth.
We've been in orbit around the Sun.
