I have a blog that I write that I went through the science behind on how we did it.
Some of the other things that I've done to kind of get people excited is we threw a festival at the Fox Theater back in 2015 we called the Ben Uval.
And this was a variety show.
It was cool.
I was kind of the producer.
I went out and got sponsorships to put it all together.
So I gave a kind of a comedy story called Asteroid Friday, which will be a subject for another lecture.
We had Flam Chen acrobatics.
We had Chamberlab doing experimental music.
We had Tucson Improv doing comedy.
Jeff Notkin, famous meteorite hunter, telling stories of his adventures.
I would love to do another one like this, if anybody is interested or has ideas.
It was really cool, fun way to bring the community of Tucson together, which is something I think is really important.
to do.
We work with the College of Fine Arts.
If you know where our building is, we're on Sixth Avenue in Drachman, where our operations center is.
And Professor Kiedos and his mural painting class came out.
I gave him a lecture about the mission.
And then they put this 60 foot by 20 foot mural that they designed and painted on the side of our building, which kind of captures the mythology of Osiris as well as the science and the journey of Osiris Rex.
And then amazingly to me, my Japanese education came back to be incredibly practical and useful because the Japanese government and their space agency, they're probably the most ambitious group out there and they're definitely the highest risk takers when it comes to planetary exploration, which I love.
