It has been very obvious that Dublin Central is only one of three constituencies in the country that we don't have a dull seat in.

We haven't won a dull seat there since 2007.

It's an area that we need to absolutely refocus on and reconnect on the ground.

Like in 2011, we'd won seats in Dublin with the late Brian Lennon, now Fianna Fáil of 10.

There's a variance across constituencies of party support.

We're the largest party in the Dáil.

But the by-election result in Dublin Central, of course it was disappointing.

There was nothing down to Councillor John Stevens either.

But we really need to redouble our efforts on the ground.

And we're going to be doing that within Dublin Central to reconnect with people there.

Because we have a good organisation, but the organisation itself needs a lot of support there.

And we need to get new councillors and new people on board there.

And we'll do that.

No, it's not.

It's a legacy issue, to be fair, David.

I think I've just said we haven't won a Dáil seat there in nearly 20 years.

But you used to have three.

Yeah, but no one was expecting us to win it.

Let's be straight about that.

It was a disappointing result.
