So I think that that's what ownership and senior management has to come to terms with.

Before you allow other teams to express interest in your general manager, don't you have to believe that it's an off-ice issue and it's not an on-ice issue?

Look at that roster.

If that roster is flawed, who's better prepared or ready to address those issues than the existing group?

So I'm open for anything when it comes to the Colorado Avalanche.

What I'm not open for is an overhaul because I think at that point it gets unnecessary.

a main player in contributing and helping the Toronto Maple Leafs go much deeper than they did internationally, all of that kind of stuff.

You know, the one thing, and you guys as players can appreciate this, and it's harder now than it's ever been.

You know, the players can say, look, we don't read social media.

We don't pay attention to what's being said on radio or what's being talked about on television.

But you know what?

They do.

and their families do, especially in a market the size of Toronto.
