It's the same thing as the Four Nations last year.
I mean, a lot of guys came back from that, and they were a little bumped up.
They were banged up, and they didn't play their best hockey.
You know, I mentioned Dylan Larkin earlier.
Like, he really badly wanted to play last year, and the Four Nations played, came back, and wasn't very effective down the stretch, or not as much as he could have been or should have been.
And so now, you know, you come back.
None of these guys want to, I'm sure, admit that they've got some bumps and bruises, or maybe their liver's taking a little beating as well.
Yeah, I was listening to you talk about that.
Well, I mean, hey, listen, Ben Kendall's a heck of a player.
Can he step right in there?
He seems to have a lot of โ well, obviously he's got young legs and he's got almost great โ
naivety or you know you know i mean like he's just he just goes out there and plays now does he replace cindy crosby absolutely not and could he handle the the the checking of the top guys no but he and he and malcolm are gonna have to do it there's there's no other choice in the matter so uh they're gonna they're gonna have to tread some water and take on some water and win two games two to one and you know maybe it's an opportunity to change that system a little bit
and maybe not be as aggressive.
And I know people don't like it, but there's a lot of teams that play a 1-1-3 or a 1-3-1.
And for a short amount of time, maybe that's what these coaches can utilize, you know, just because.
I mean, what else are you going to do?
You know, you can't play the same way if you don't have your big horses.
So I think that's one thing I'm going to be looking at is what adjustments some of these coaches make when they don't quite have the horses down the stretch, but they need to get points.
And they need to get great goaltending.
That's obviously the bottom line.
