We have ownership that is dedicated to winning.
We have good baseball people in the organization.
We have good players.
And so I think you remain, and you have to remember, it's hard to win.
I was telling somebody, I mean, in my career, I've been in the post-season a bunch of times when we had the capabilities to do it, and some really good teams.
We didn't win.
It's hard.
It's just a hard thing to do.
And you just have to remain optimistic that you have good players that work hard, that you like watching play, and then you're in a position that at the right time, they get it done.
Somebody hits the three-run homer for your club that makes the difference.
Somebody makes the error on the other team.
And it isn't like we go into a season and don't have the capabilities to win it.
We will have the capabilities next year going into the season to win a world championship.
Now we have to go do it.
Well, in Painter's case...
He still has quality stuff.
He still throws his fastball in the upper 90s, touches 100.
He still has quality breaking stuff.
And I think most importantly, he remained healthy and went out there every five days, five, six days.
So those things are in the encouragement.
