I defend LaMelo because I do believe he's one of the more creative players.
And I think it takes a special coach.
If I'm going to compare LaMelo to Picasso, I think Charles Lee has done a great job of making sure that he's got every color in the palette, his brushes are clean, the canvas is ready for him.
And I honestly think that that's why we're seeing the best version of LaMelo.
He is an artist with the basketball and no, like it has not been stolen from him.
And yet we're watching him cut the fat in a way that he has never done in his entire career.
And I just can't help as a coach myself.
I cannot help but place a lot of this on Charles Lee because it is a difference.
And I think it starts with him.
LaMelo's the system.
