I think Cruise Beckham isn't getting enough credit here as the kind of weird Iago figure in all this, because when he put that post out saying, we woke up blocked, as did I, that's when everyone was like, oh, Jesus, this is, whoa, let's jump on it.

And it's just, the fires are still burning.

Like, literally, as we speak, you have people door-stopping David Beckham.

You have him doing that podcast you mentioned, which I think he said something to the effect of, oh, you have to let kids make their own decisions or something.

Which, of course, turns into Beckham breaks silence.

And it's like, he's not really saying that much, is he?

But, yeah, like, they are now being hounded.

I mean, even, like, the tenor of the Sky News reporter and, like, listen, again, that's his job.

It was very, like, you know...

right on him.

And it's kind of like, do you want the man to come out and condemn his firstborn?

When will we be sated as people who are looking in?

And look, we're sitting here right now talking about it.

We're not innocent either.

But people are genuinely tuned into this in a way, I think with a celebrity story that hasn't been for a long time.

This is, for a lot of people, it's huge.

So I'm curious.

I don't have kids.

For me, the guitar thing is much worse.

In terms of Beckham, David Beckham, to bring it back to him and his position in society and in the world and his legacy, a word we hear so often in a sporting context, this is obviously really, really bad.
