It's just like you keep looking and you're like 1999 has ridiculous amount of great films in there.

2007 was another kind of good year but like buried in the mix here I feel.

It tends to only be on sports lists like this one.

It's Any Given Sunday by Oliver Stone.

The most insane film ever made.

I can't use the cocaine cinema line again, but this is like if cocaine was a sentient human who went in and made a film.

I can't get over how many cuts there are in this film, how many needle drops there are in this film.

I listened to the commentary and Oliver Stone was like, oh, it was really tough to clear the music for this.

I was like, I bet it was, man, because my God, there's a song every 25 seconds.

It's if you've never seen any given Sunday, you don't know what I'm talking about.

It's set in the fictional world of the AFFA, the Associated Football something of America, because they couldn't get the NFL.

So it's been American football.

And it's meant to be this kind of like warts and all look at what it means like to be the best to be the best footballer, American footballer out there to be the quarterback.

And it's just this collision of characters, all played by fairly recognizable actors and some very, very inspired casting, including the likes of Lawrence Taylor, who, of course, came from the NFL.

And it's just Al Pacino screaming at you for two and a half hours.
