Not going to say it was perfect tonight.
The Tari last minute drive will certainly be clipped as evidence of the other direction that maybe got a little too ahead of themselves.
You know, by and large, if Reed Shepard doesn't pick it up off the bench, then I guess the next guys that I would ask to do a little bit more heavy lifting offensively would be Jabari and Tari.
And at least in Jabari's case, he delivered in the second half tonight.
The Rockets came back.
This was just such a fulfilling game because, you know, they finally came back from down 13 plus when we know they had at least two games that they blew enormous leads in New Orleans and Sacramento.
They had so many games this year where it felt like they played really well, but the bounces late didn't go their way.
Here's when they fell behind by 13.
They weren't playing particularly well and they found a way.
Was it pretty?
No.
Did they steal it?
Maybe.
But it sort of offsets the damage a little bit from one of those earlier games that you probably deserved to win but didn't.
In that sense, it sort of feels like getting a game back that you threw away earlier in the season, especially without Alper and Shingun being able to find a way to get this one.
And now being 3-0 against, you know, say what you will, but the Suns are, what, 21-15?
Like, they seem like they're going to be a top-seven team in the West, at least top eight.
That's a solid win, and your 3-0 against them, shouldn't complain about it.
No, I mean, I've made my points on Reed a few times, so I won't go into it again, only to say, you know, Portland was the game earlier this year when Tari went out with the oblique.
And if you recall in the second half, Reed went off.
