It was old school, you know, punching, you know, and landing left and right where Kenny Omega was like backing off and as like an old champion that's on his last leg was trying to defend himself and
and couldn't defend himself i was like wow i haven't seen this in wrestling in i don't know how long and then just like the champion the fight of a champion he came back with what not moves not dives not rapid fire chops to the chest but old school lefts and rights and punches
Like, dude, during that moment of that main event last night, as a wrestling fan, I felt... I absolutely loved the story that they were telling near the end of that match last night, Bully.
Yeah, but I also saw Kenny Omega in a way that I have never seen Kenny Omega wrestle before.
And that's giving him the ultimate credit.
Because at the end of that match, when I'm seeing him with his fist, and when he was actually backing away from Max at one point, I was like, this is what you need from Kenny Omega, especially at this stage in his career.
And I thought he did it brilliantly.
No, the way they were building it up was like, he's going to take him out.
But he had to cheat to win, which was genius too.
Exactly, and how about last night?
I know cheating and ref bump, and he had him pinned for like 15 seconds.
MJF kicked out at a one-winged angel.
No one has ever done that in AEW, and I think the only person to ever do it was Ibushi, and somebody could prove me wrong, but no one's done it in AEW.
Max kicked out at a one-winged angel.
Now, obviously, the commentators will say, well, he had him pinned for 15 seconds.
Imagine what Max is going to say on Wednesday about Kenny Omega and kicking out of the one-winged Angel last night.
Put salt in the wound.
And one other thing, I like, Talon, you've brought this up before about the table.
Bringing out the table and then not using the table until the end of the match.
And it bit Kenny in the ass because it was Kenny Omega who brought out that table.
