And if you don't know what that is, it's the chunks of like sections of concrete that are formed in metal that border the railroad tracks.
They're separate from the road, but it's like decking for the railroad crossing.
Right.
One of those has been coming loose quite frequently since I've started my job.
They fixed it four times.
The last time was 51 days ago.
And this time it popped out.
And when it pops out, it pops up.
And so it's sticking a foot out of the ground.
And it's this fucking quarter inch angle iron that used to have concrete in it.
But once it pushes out and gets hit a bunch of times, all the concrete disintegrates.
So we had to flag that while the railroad fixed that.
So that was an eight hour day.
And then went to work Monday.
God damn, dude.
A good year or two.
Nobody realized how wet it was going to be until we actually started plowing.
I burned through an entire tank of death in one day.
And usually, on normal storms, I will go through a tank of death in three or four storms.
So they inject this juice that absorbs something into some filter that makes it not spicy air out of your exhaust.
