That's two seconds that...
I may or may not have in the event in this same situation, I can see absolutely how drawing there, like being aware of their surroundings and drawing their pistols prematurely helped them immensely in this situation.
Um, but what I really, I'm not stomping on the drawing.
I'm stomping on the being situationally aware, like not involved in your phone or, um,
you know, staring at your feet as you're hiking through, you're like up and looking around and you know, what's around me, you're, you're trusting your senses and believe me, um, your body's going to tell you something's wrong about 10 seconds before you realize it.
So trust those instincts.
Like when Dave was elk hunting, talking about smelling the elk.
They're so close you can smell them, but you still can't see them.
I don't know what that smells like because I've not been 60 yards from hundreds of elk.
I have.
They used to wander through our backyard back in the day before we moved, but I didn't go outside and go, smell the elk.
what am i supposed to be smelling like i'd take a whiff and like get nothing and then now i'll drive by like one of the pot farms around here it'll be like yep that's a pot farm it's either really good or a skunk my wife can't tell the difference half the time she's like she'll we'll play a game called skunk or pot and i've been trying to teach her always pot
I've been trying to teach her that skunks have that more acidic scent to them.
They smell really similar, but skunks are just more acidic smelling.
Oh man.
We got lucky on Halloween.
We were trick or treating.
We'd got three houses in.
We knock on some neighbor's door and see movement around the corner of the house, like feet from us thinking it's a cat.
I looked down.
