I said, I don't think I was ready for this, to actually understand that somebody's attack was affecting them to such a state that they wanted to pass their own life on after surviving such a horrible thing was a tough one to deal with.

Lots of other people in the group will call me all the time.

It's so nice.

We all look after each other.

I'm also, like I said before, I've got a relationship with the Department of Prime Industry where

Over the years, Bite Club has become their community liaison when it comes to a tough attack.

And we will go out and speak to the community about what they can expect and, you know, how tough a shark attack can be on not just individuals but communities.

There's some wonderful people within the Department of Prime Ministry.

I get a lot of support from some wonderful people there.

But, yeah, most of my support is from my own family.

My son is just so funny because he's so blasé about lots of things.

So I'll be going away for a day to do something and he goes, oh, it's more shark shit, is it, Dad?

And I go, yeah, it's just... So he's like that, but he knows...

that when I come home, I'm going to be doing it a bit tough and he'll go, come on dad, let's go for a ride on the motorbikes or, you know, let's do something.

And then my, my daughter's absolutely beautiful.

She, she's that one special person in the world that everybody needs to have in their life.

And she keeps me and my son calm and, um, and my partner, Deb, she's been through hell with me over the years.
