And before I even got away, there was this big disturbance on the water and a bull shark come to the surface.

I could see its head as it came up and then it just whipped its tail.

What?

On that day, at the same time.

And it was just like, wow, this is a sign here.

You know, it's either a good sign or a bad sign.

And one of the guys looked at me as if to say, is Dave going to freak out here?

And I just went, not today.

It's not ruining my day today.

And...

Yeah, it shot through when, you know, we could see it after that heading out a bit.

So I proceeded to have a nice surf in the afternoon.

A little bit uneasy, but it was good.

And then we got out, you know, everyone was cooking meat on the barbie and having a few beers and just talking about what a great afternoon it was.

And my partner, Deb, said, Dave, check that out.

And as we were looking at the sunset in the clouds, there was a cloud and...

below the high layer of cloud was a shark shape underneath.

And everybody just looked at it and went quiet.

And it was like, wow, this is a moment here.

And it was really funny because, as I said, the night I was attacked, I laid there and watched the sunset.
