Okay, on the pitching side of this one,
Dylan Cease had a pretty good game.
Two earned over five and two-thirds.
Walked four guys again and had some trouble in the first inning with the command and the pitch count, but settled in from there.
That's not totally unusual for Dylan Cease.
What stood out to you most from his start?
A hundred and they left them in with one Oh six.
What do you finish with?
One 10, one 10.
So they let him face Altuve that one extra time, even though he's at one Oh six and they did the mound visit and Altuve kind of cheap shot at one to right field.
So I know that you self-deprecate all the time about the walks that you issued.
Dylan Cease is a guy that β and yesterday is a good example because of the strikeouts that he got, the put-away pitch in all of those cases was they weren't all in the zone, but they were all pretty close.
So when you're a nasty stuff guy that guys can't even square up in the box β
Obviously, it's an oversimplification.
We joke about how the Jays fixed Robbie Ray.
It was just like, well, stop walking.
Right, right.
What is that challenge like of, well, I know my stuff plays in the zone, but I don't want to be in the zone too much.
And then if you don't have the kind of pinpoint stuff that day, that risk reward of you can bring it in the zone and get some swing and miss, but there's a little bit more risk to that, and you'd prefer not to.
