I haven't seen Crosby that apoplectic on the ice in a long time.

He took two penalties.

He was getting drawn into all sorts of scrums, all sorts of extracurricular.

They kind of were in his head a little bit, and it wasn't one guy doing it.

It wasn't like, remember when you played Peewee, and you'd be like, shadow that guy.

He's their best player.

It was like by committee.

Just every time they had a chance, a shot here, a little slash there.

a jab there verbal and i think they kind of had him off his game a little bit which was you know again credit to rick talkett sometimes teams take on the identity of their head coach and it really feels like the flyers have taken on the rick talkett flyer broad street bully modern day version um

of what the Flyers, you know, are, who they are.

It's not just Crosby.

And maybe there's part of this too, guys.

Like I did pick Philly to win this series.

And part of it was Pittsburgh.

I don't want to say they overachieved, but did you guys think they were going to make the playoffs?

No, nor did I. But Philly also came on incredibly at the end of the year.

And Pittsburgh kind of was gliding in.

And I just thought maybe their age would start to show a little bit.
