It was low-event hockey in the third, which hadn't been the case earlier in the series.
And I think what it's allowed them to understand is, hey, if we play our best hockey, we can still win this series.
And it's not out of their grasp at all.
It's a big hill to climb.
They've not strung together three great games in a row pretty much all season.
So it's going to take that.
But at least I think it showed them, you know, when we play a better brand of hockey and we kind of,
you know, tighten things up, we can beat this team.
So tomorrow night's going to be really key to see how the game starts, not for Edmonton, but for Anaheim.
They've allowed the first goal every single game, and they've been chasing the game, and it's worked okay because the Oilers have had these meltdowns, and Anaheim's been able to wrestle away the momentum.
But it's not the right way to go about winning, you know, getting down every single game two goals or three goals and then trying to roar back, and it bit them in the butt last night.
Yeah, 100%.
Whether there was validity to it or not, I don't know.
But it does speak to, he's not 100%.
There's an ankle problem there, and you've seen it.
He's not acting by any means.
But yeah, Elliott went as far as to say him missing the game means he needs surgery tonight, basically.
And that's really how I viewed it.
He's just that competitive.
He's that great a leader.
