We talk a lot about loneliness as we age.
And I think a lot of people look at it as a purely like social problem.
Oh, we need to expand networks.
We need to have older folks more connected with other individuals.
How is looking at it like a little bit of a bigger problem, thinking what kind of activities can folks do, even if they don't involve other people?
How can that help us?
My grandmother, before she passed, as she was getting older, she would complain of being lonely a lot.
I wish I had recommended she read.
I know she had glaucoma.
Would audiobooks be a good substitute?
I prefer audiobooks, to be honest.
I think reading is low cost.
It's got audio books.
There are different ways to do it.
