It's a really hard thing to argue against. The last thing I'd say on this is I agree with you. I used to collect. I had a major collecting problem, and I felt I had to own everything. One of the first times I walked into Real Groovy, no, not Real Groovy, that's the New Zealand version, Amoeba Music.

When I walked into Amoeba, I had a revelation, and I basically looked at their DVDs and Blu-rays, and I just thought, I'm never going to own all of these. So what's the point? Like, I need to stop. Will I only be happy... When I own everything in the store. And it kind of snapped me out of it. Where I was like, I've just got to stop collecting. Because there's no end.

on a streaming platform this is where i'd argue and i was talking to a friend who's like a real movie nerd and he was telling me that audio on streaming is house so he's got like a good audio system in his house and he would always take having it even a blu-ray not having like you know not like ultra 4k i can see that that's better than having it so again we're back to the hoarding argument again of being like superior everything

That was Blockbuster. And our nerding out over physical media versus digital media. One final fun fact. I was under the impression that the Blockbuster in Bend was an Airbnb where you could rent and stay there.

Yeah. Basically, it was a promotion. According to the staff that I spoke to, it was a promotion after the pandemic. Giveaway, three families, won a raffle to do it. And that was it. It wasn't like a long-term thing.

There was maybe 50. They didn't have tickled. They said that I could send in a copy and they would put it in the last blockbuster store in America. And so I bought my own film online. It's a DVD. We made a Blu-ray at one point, but I think it's only in New Zealand. So I'm going to send this in to Bend.
