So a lot has changed in terms of athletics and probably more so in the last five to six years, it's really ramped up.
There was always technology involved in shoes and tracks, but in the last couple of years, it's really ramped up.

Like if you look at Paris, let's say in my event of 400, like, you know, there was a time when I was competing, like a 44 seconds would be, would get you top eight in the world.
44 seconds.
Yeah.
So anything under the 45, you know, when I made world final, I ran 44.7.
And I remember even putting a plan in place like two years in advance of that.
And I went through all the previous results and 44.8 on average was a time.
for a male 400-meter sprinter to get to a global final, Olympics or Worlds.
Now, when you look at Paris, like, it's 40 trees.
It is massive.
Yeah.
You know, 0.1, like, a reference point would be if you think back to Paris with our women's relay team.
They were 0.18.
Now, if you can remember that race, it was really, really close.
But it was 0.18 of a difference between fourth and third.
So the difference between getting on the podium.
