Hey guys, thanks for having me back.

I'm really excited to do this.

So you are quickly becoming one of our resident philosophers.

I'm honored.

It's good to have discussions, to talk about the philosophy behind skepticism and science and critical thinking and all the stuff that we do.

We always like to have topic experts on to make sure that what we're saying is correct.

So we were talking over email, and I think you brought up a very interesting topic that I'd love to discuss on the show, the difference between expertise and authority.

What do you mean by that?

Oh, yeah, absolutely.

I mean, I think the first thing that comes to mind is R.K.

Jr., you know, who famously does not trust experts and who has said we have to stop listening to experts.

And he seems to be following his own advice to disaster results.
