And I think it really did wake them up.
And that's โ as much as we love talking about managers, that is the primary purpose that they serve, to be fired, to send a message.
And so I hope to โ I hope Rob Thompson comes back and has some sort of role in the organization going forward.
He's still incredibly, incredibly popular here.
You know, he's served his greatest purpose in being thrown overboard to appease the gods.

Like, if that was an option, I mean, the entire league would be different.
I would love to be able to, I would love to be able to, frankly, move the Marlins to one of the central divisions.
I think it would have changed the complete, you know, the direction of that franchise.
But, you know, unfortunately, geology moves on a very slow timeline.
okay you know you're not the only person who said that uh you know in our our mailbag for fan graphs members i i basically uh mapped out if you were doing the 999 challenge drinking certain beers what would happen to you and learned that if you that there are beers that are sold at major league ballparks that would kill a 200 pound man by the bottom of the fifth inning so
