John, take me back 10 years ago or even take me back further.
When did you realise that you had a problem?

Now, I read an interview with David Lammy and he was talking about being a black kid growing up in Tottenham in London and being really conscious and fearful of the danger of being put in prison as a child.
There was talk of broken ribs.
And I think part of the rationale for these reforms is to try to keep children out of custody.
There was talk of various other injuries.
Are you aware of whether any of the Irish detainees have suffered that sort of mistreatment?
