Yeah, the vibe in the city went from doom and gloom, what the hell are we doing, this organization is a joke, and whatever other headline, this and that, to holy crap, first overall pick, the team is saved, we're in an amazing position, we've got McKenna, presumably that's who they're getting.
People already have McKenna jerseys running around town.
You know, this is what's interesting to me for this situation now.
Aside from the additional changes that have to happen and the eventual conversation, I think after Berube next week, I believe Cech is going and maybe Sundin as well is going to Scottsdale to meet up with Austin Matthews to have that conversation in person.
But with all of the hype around McKenna already, he's not even a Leaf yet.
With the way that they're going to look at this and analyze, and is it him?
Is it Stenberg?
Is it whatever?
From a marketing perspective, do they almost have to already go with Gavin McKenna?
