You've got to start mapping these moves out now.

You can't afford to go to the draft...

and not be ready to execute on some of your plan, not be able to check off some of those additional boxes.

Because whatever Toronto does, it's not going to be July 1 exclusively.

You have to make transactions too, and by that I mean trades.

That's going to lead up to all that.

And it's fair.

It's the same thing in Edmonton.

I know everyone's pinpointing Austin Matthews right now, but if the Oilers don't make any moves and don't improve going into next season, going into the middle of July,
